Back Pressure Maintaining Valves

BiS Wells offer a comprehensive range of Back Pressure Maintaining Valves (BPMV’s). These valves maintain a set pressure within a pneumatic or hydraulic system. When the set pressure is met the BPMV will open and exhaust system medium. The BPMV will then re-seat.

We offer three main types of BPMV; spring loaded, internally dome loaded and externally dome loaded. Depending on pressure, flow and physical size will determine which type of regulator is most suited to your application.

Our BPMV’s can handle inlet pressures up to 8,000 Psi and control system pressures from as little as 0.75 Psi through to 8,000 Psi. Valves are offered in Aluminium Alloy as standard but can be manufactured from Stainless Steel, Brass and Aluminium Bronze. Valves range from ¼” ports up to our largest BPMV at 3”.

Most of our BPMV’s are suitable for both pneumatic and hydraulic applications, please see our overview datasheets for suitability. As standard valves are offered with Nitrile or Viton seals however please contact us for medium compatibility as other elastomeric materials can be offered.
